Vehicle Restraint Installation and Repair
We install and repair hook-type and wheel-lock vehicle restraints. A vehicle restraint locks the trailer to the dock, preventing trailer creep or premature pull-aways while forklifts are loading inside.
A hook-type restraint grabs the trailer’s rear impact guard (ICC bar), the steel bar under the back of the trailer. A wheel-lock restraint holds a rear wheel instead, so it does not depend on that bar.
We serve facilities throughout the South Florida Tri-County area: Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

FAQs
What does a vehicle restraint do?
It holds the trailer at the loading dock while it is loaded and unloaded, so the trailer cannot creep away from the dock or pull away early while a forklift is inside.
Can you add a vehicle restraint to an existing dock?
Yes. We install vehicle restraints on new docks and add them to existing docks as a retrofit.
Do you repair vehicle restraints you did not install?
Yes. We repair hook-type and wheel-lock vehicle restraints installed by others.
