Loading Dock & Door Repair and Installation in South Florida
A dock leveler that won’t work, a door that won’t close, or a dock face that has detached from the building brings your loading dock to a stop. Trucks wait, freight sits, and your facility is left exposed to weather and pests.
BXC Dock Services keeps your business moving. We repair, install and maintain loading docks of every configuration across South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
BXC was founded in 2014 on a trade that goes back to the 1990s, passed down and still family owned and operated. Licensed and insured. To minimize your downtime, we carry the most common replacement parts, so most repairs can be done the same day.

Pit Dock Levelers
When a pit leveler stops rising, fails to hold position, or drops under a loaded forklift, your entire dock operation grinds to a halt.
We service all brands and models of mechanical, air powered, and hydraulic levelers, replacing everything from springs, lips, and hinges to pumps and control panels, and we rebuild hydraulic cylinders. For obsolete units no longer supported by the manufacturer, we install retrofit conversion kits using parts currently in production. This keeps a well-built leveler in service and saves you the cost of a complete replacement.
Edge of Dock Levelers
Edge of dock levelers are equipment we work on almost every day, from simple repairs to complete rebuilds. We repair edge of dock levelers of every brand — springs, lips, hinges, air systems, hydraulics and control panels — and we sell and install new units, including recessed units set into a small concrete pit.
Seized hinges are the repair most companies won’t touch. We open them up and put the leveler back in service.
Dock Lifts
Dock lifts carry the loads a standard leveler cannot, bridging ground to dock height without requiring a ramp or a pit. We provide complete sales, installation, repairs, and routine maintenance for all brands.
When hydraulic cylinders leak, hoses break, or pumps fail, we handle the mechanical repairs, and we always rebuild and reinforce any cracked or damaged structural steel before installing new components.
Overhead Doors
A door that won’t close leaves your building vulnerable to weather, pests, and security risks. We repair and install all types of commercial overhead doors, including industrial roll-up, sectional, insulated dock, and high-speed doors.
Whether you need to fix springs, cables, tracks, panels, openers, or the steel framing itself, we have you covered. Because doors and loading docks often fail together, one call handles both.
Dock Seals & Shelters
We install and replace dock seals and shelters, and we repair the installation, re-mounting a pad or a section that has come away from the building when the fabric and frame are still sound.
We do not repair the equipment itself. Seals and shelters are sized to your opening and your trailer mix, so every one starts with an on-site survey.
Bumpers & Warehouse Safety
Dock bumpers take the impact of incoming trailers so your dock face doesn’t have to. When a bumper block breaks away, the next trailer hits raw concrete, turning a simple bumper replacement into a major structural repair. We fix the concrete, metal framing, curb, and pit angles behind your bumpers to restore your dock’s integrity. We install and replace dock bumpers, and we proactively straighten, re-weld, and re-anchor loose bumpers before major damage occurs.
To secure the entire loading dock, we also install and repair vehicle restraints that lock the trailer directly to the dock, preventing dangerous trailer creep or premature pull-aways while forklifts are loading inside. Combined with the industrial bollards, safety barriers, and folding gates we install, we deliver complete impact protection that keeps your staff, equipment, and facility secure.
Concrete & Loading Dock Structure
This is specialized structural work, and we handle the entire process ourselves from start to finish. For loading docks, we specialize in complete pit construction, dock face and edge repairs, and failed curb angle and C-channel replacement. Our team manages the entire project, including forming, structural rebar placement, precision welding, and concrete pouring, to deliver a straight, square edge built to properly support your leveler and withstand heavy trailer impacts. When dock curbs crack or a leveler pulls away from its anchoring, we install heavy-duty transition plates to reinforce the dock and rebuild the damaged concrete structure underneath from the ground up.
Beyond the dock area, we provide comprehensive industrial concrete floor maintenance to keep your facility running smoothly. We repair and restore concrete slabs and warehouse floors that have cracked, shifted, or degraded under heavy forklift traffic. Our structural concrete services also extend to the exterior drive approaches, ensuring a smooth, level surface that withstands constant truck loading and protects your material handling equipment from unnecessary wear and tear.
Fabrication, Welding & Racking
We offer custom manufacturing of transition plates, transition ramps, dock plates and protective railings, built to your specifications, and we repair worn or damaged dock plates by straightening bent steel and re-welding components.
In our shop we also build safety railings, removable train dock railings, mounting brackets and steel reinforcements, and install them on site.
When forklift impacts damage pallet racking, we straighten, weld and re-anchor it, and replace any uprights or beams damaged beyond repair.

Why Choose BXC Dock Services?
We extend the life of your older dock equipment. We are known to bring it back from the dead.
The job is done right the first time. Most loading docks require extensive prep work before a new unit can be safely installed. We cut out old welds, repair the pit, dock face, dock curb angles or C-channel dock curb, and last, install the new unit. Bolting or welding new equipment to a failed dock face guarantees another breakdown, so full structural prep is part of the job.
Comprehensive maintenance programs. Safety inspections help keep your facility safe and secure. Preventative maintenance catches minor wear before it turns into an expensive operational shutdown.
Decades of industry expertise. Family owned and operated, built on passed-down expertise, quality craftsmanship and reliable commercial service.

FAQs
What installation services do you provide?
We install a comprehensive range of loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, dock lifts, seals, and shelters. We also specialize in essential safety and access solutions such as bumpers, bollards, barriers, overhead doors, and folding gates.
Do you do concrete and slab work?
Yes. We handle structural concrete work at the loading dock, including dock face and dock edge repair, failed curb angle and C-channel replacement, and full pit construction and repair. We also do slab and floor work throughout the warehouse, in the dock area and at the drive approach. Work includes forming, rebar, welding new steel to the dock face and pouring back to a straight, square edge that supports the leveler and takes truck impact.
Can you handle retrofits for older dock systems?
Absolutely. We offer hydraulic-to-mechanical and mechanical-to-hydraulic retrofit kits for existing pit dock levelers only, to modernize them, improve efficiency, and extend their life without the cost of a full replacement.
Are your technicians trained and experienced?
Yes. Our technicians are fully trained on loading dock equipment and the dock structure itself. In the trade since 1997, we bring decades of hands-on experience to the job, and we back our work with a 60-day labor warranty and a one-year warranty on new parts. Terms apply.
