Inflatable dock seals & shelters
BXC Dock Services offers inflatable dock shelters designed to create a secure seal by inflating around docked trailers. These are especially suitable for food-grade facilities that require strict temperature control during transfers.
They form a tight seal between trucks and buildings, preserving cold-chain integrity and improving energy efficiency. These shelters also enhance hygiene standards by reducing exposure to outdoor contaminants.
When not in use, the shelter retracts completely behind the side panels, giving drivers full access to the bay for safer backing. Bright yellow markers help guide trucks precisely into position.
To minimize damage, reinforced bumpers are installed at ramp height to absorb any accidental contact.

How it works?
Once a truck is docked, a motor activates the system to seal the space between the vehicle and the facility. This airtight seal remains in place throughout the entire loading process.
Once loading or unloading is complete, the operator presses a button to deflate the cushions. A tubular motor retracts the top cushion, while side sections return via the built-in retraction mechanism. Afterward, the vehicle can exit smoothly.
A durable steel frame covered in seamless fabric prevents leaks, drafts, and cracks.
The cushions only inflate when the vehicle is correctly aligned at the dock.
The Plus model includes a motorized roll-up system that retracts the top cushion after use.
